At Lights & More Ltd, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights to return goods and receive a refund in accordance with UK consumer law.
This policy applies to purchases made through our website.
- YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item(s). You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

- CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
Returned goods must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In resaleable condition
- Complete with all parts and accessories
We reserve the right to reduce your refund if the item has been handled more than necessary to inspect it.
- NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Bespoke or made-to-order products
- Customised lighting
- Special-order items
- Electrical goods that have been installed
- Items damaged due to misuse
This does not affect your statutory rights.
- FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described
If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery for damage claims
- Provide photographs where possible
You may be entitled to:
- A repair
- A replacement
- A full refund
We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty items.
- RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
If you are returning goods under your 14-day cancellation right:
- You are responsible for return postage costs
- We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
- REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect returned goods:
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method
- Standard delivery charges will be refunded (if applicable)
If you paid by bank transfer, refunds will be issued to the original bank account used.
- EXCHANGES
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.
If you require an exchange, please contact us before returning the item.
- ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Lighting products must be installed by a qualified electrician where required.
We cannot accept returns of electrical products that have been installed unless they are faulty.
